Description
Changes the default tax country and its rate, usually for one form. The default tax country decides which valid VAT numbers still pay VAT (no reverse charge), which rate is used when the customer’s country is not known yet, and which country the billing address starts with. See also Change the default country per form.
A form specific variant exists as well: add _FORMID to the hook name, for example
gotreu_default_tax_country_info_3 for form 3.Parameters
$default | Array. The country code and the standard rate from the plugin settings, for example array( 'NL', 21 )
$form_id | Int. The ID of the form
Return
Array. array( country code, rate ). Use EL for Greece
Usage
Copy the below code to the functions.php of your child theme or to your snippet plugin.
<?php
// Form 2 uses France (20%) as its default tax country.
add_filter( 'gotreu_default_tax_country_info_2', function( $default, $form_id ) {
return array( 'FR', 20 );
}, 10, 2 );
