Registry searches sold and delivered through WooCommerce

A legal services company sells registry searches and reports to law firms. Ordering, paying and delivery all had to work for busy professionals, without extra work for staff.

Result: many orders now go from payment to delivered report without anyone touching them.

What I built

  • Configurators that search the registry, so customers order the right company
  • Fulfilment through the registry’s API after payment, one background job per search
  • A reports portal with live updates, search and “merge selected into one PDF”
  • Payment on account, pricing per role, sub-accounts and bulk orders for firms
  • Paid add-ons after purchase, created as linked orders

Frequently asked questions

Do you build standard webshops?

Only when they need custom work. For a standard shop with a theme and a few extensions, a WooCommerce agency usually suits you better, and I’m happy to tell you which way to go.

Can you work on our existing WooCommerce store?

Yes. Most projects extend a store that already runs: I add the order flow, portal or integration without rebuilding what works.

Will custom code survive WooCommerce updates?

I build on WooCommerce’s hooks, keep it compatible with its order storage (HPOS) and test against new versions, so updates stay safe.

Can WooCommerce talk to our ERP or supplier?

If it has an API, yes: orders, stock and documents can be sent and fetched automatically.

Can business customers pay on account?

Yes. Payment methods can be shown per customer or role, with invoices instead of a card payment.
